Privacy Policy
Your workouts stay on your iPhone.
And Done turns the workouts in Apple Health into cards you can share. It is built so that we never see your data: there are no accounts, no servers holding your information, no analytics and no ads.
- Your Apple Health data is read on your iPhone and never sent to us or anyone else.
- We don't collect personal data, and we don't track you across apps or websites.
- Photos and videos you add stay on your device.
- Only you decide what to share, and where.
Who we are
And Done is made by Ritwik Sinha, an independent developer. For anything about this policy, write to anddoneclub@gmail.com.
Apple Health data
With your permission, And Done reads your workouts from Apple Health: the type of workout, when it started and how long it took, and the measurements recorded with it, such as distance, pace, energy burned, heart rate, heart-rate recovery, steps, cadence, power, elevation, the route of outdoor workouts and the weather saved with them. You choose what to allow in the Health permission sheet, and you can change it at any time.
This data is used for one thing: drawing your workout cards, on your iPhone.
- It never leaves your device. And Done has no servers. Your Health data is never sent to us, to any third party, or to iCloud.
- It is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, and it is never sold or shared.
- A local copy for speed. So the app opens quickly, it keeps a copy of the workouts it has already read in a cache on your iPhone. That cache is never backed up to iCloud, and it is removed when you delete the app.
- Read only. And Done does not write anything to Apple Health.
Photos, videos and the camera
When you add a photo or video to a card, you pick it in Apple's own picker, so the app only receives the items you choose; it has no access to the rest of your library. Photos you take with the camera from inside the app are used the same way. Your picks are stored inside the app on your iPhone so your cards can show them, and are removed when you replace them or delete the app. They are never uploaded.
If you save a card to your photo library, the app asks for permission to add it; it can add photos but not read your library.
Maps and place names
Some cards show a map of your route. To draw them, the app requests map images for the area your route covers from these services:
- Apple Maps (for most map styles).
- Mapbox (for the 3D map styles). Mapbox's optional usage reporting is off unless you turn on Map analytics in the app's Settings; see the Mapbox privacy policy.
- Terrain Tiles, a public elevation dataset hosted by Amazon Web Services (for relief and 3D terrain).
These requests carry the map area being drawn and, like any internet request, your device's IP address. They do not include your health data, your name or any account details.
To label a card with where a workout happened, such as "Bengaluru, India", the app asks Apple's location service for the place name at the start of the route. Workouts without a route show only the date.
Sharing your cards
Cards are made and exported on your iPhone. When you share one to Instagram, WhatsApp, X, your photo library or another app, the card goes to that app, carrying whatever numbers you chose to show, and from then on that app's privacy policy applies. We don't receive a copy.
Feedback
Settings › Send feedback opens your own mail app with a message addressed to anddoneclub@gmail.com. The draft includes your app version, build, iPhone model and iOS version, all visible before you send, and you can delete any of it. Nothing is sent unless you send it. We use your email only to reply and to fix problems; it is never added to a mailing list or shared.
No analytics, ads or tracking
The app contains no analytics or advertising tools and does not track you. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports through its own system; that is controlled by you in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Children
And Done is not directed to children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone.
Your choices
- To stop the app reading your Health data: Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › And Done.
- To remove everything the app has stored: delete the app.
- Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request, but we're happy to answer any question at anddoneclub@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change ever affected how your data is handled, we would say so in the app before it took effect.
